Trinity High School's Credit Union

powered by CHROME Federal Credit Union

The Hiller Vault is a fully functioning branch of CHROME Federal Credit Union
and is staffed by Trinity High School student tellers.

Designed first and foremost as an educational tool, this student credit union branch is an opportunity to start the personal finance journey in a safe, secure environment with a branch located right in the High School cafeteria.

The goal is to empower each student by having banking opportunities placed in the their daily environment, teaching them to make financial decisions as they prepare for life after high school. During their lunch period on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they will have access to the branch to make transactions, ask questions, and open their account. This equips our students with real-life experience in a controlled atmosphere.
“We had Trinity students who graduated who said one of the biggest things they needed was to be prepared for life after high school. How do I make a budget, how do I prepare myself to sustain my lifestyle based on my income, how do I apply for loans and things like that? These are the kinds of things they need to be prepared for.”

-Zack Zebrasky, Principal of Trinity High School
Being a member of The Hiller Vault also makes you a member of CHROME Federal Credit Union. You have the freedom to do your transactions at the student run branch or at any of our branch locations

CHROME Banking app
Other benefits of a CHROME membership include our Mobile Banking app, Cash Back Reward Checking Accounts, access to free financial wellness tools including student loan counseling, and all of the same benefits that members of CHROME receive with their free accounts.

Once graduating, your account will stay open with CHROME.

The students run a credit union with essentially the same functionality of CHROME’s other branches – performing transactions, opening accounts, applying for car loans, withdrawing money for soft drinks, and helping with other services.

Students don't just work at the in-school branch but also at the Washington and Racetrack Road CHROME locations.

We invite Trinity students, parents, and staff to open an account at the branch. You can visit the student branch in the High School Cafeteria on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:30 am - 1:00 pm.
